Background

Our seas are in danger, and it’s our responsibility as living beings to care for the nature around us. We partnered with an inspiring Finnish swimwear brand Lilja the Label. Together, we launched a trash-picking campaign to raise awareness and take action to protect our oceans.

Goals

Main goal was to inspire people to take concrete action to keep our seas clean and raise awareness about the significance of ocean conservation. The campaign challenged people to take action and head to their favourite beach, forest or park, and fill the bag with trash.

Challenges

Even though sustainability is seen as one the main goals for many of us, it’s also easily forgotten. Our main challenge was to create a digital campaign that would engage the target audience and motivate them to act.

To bring the message out loud and clear we used multiple different media channels to ensure the campaign’s goals were clearly heard.

Solutions

To promote the campaign Lilja the Label added to their product packaging a paper bag that doubles as a trash-picking bag to encourage people to take action.

From this idea we build a campaign website that acted as a community platform featuring an interactive map that displayed the location of thrash pick-up points.

We also provided full video production services, from concept development to post-production. To maximize the campaign’s impact, we crafted eye-catching social media versions of the video.

Results

Thousands of people engaged with the campaign through social media and the website. For every order placed, Lilja the Label donated towards saving the Baltic Sea. The campaign helped raise awareness about the significance of preserving our oceans and motivated people to take action.

Concluding Thoughts

It was a blast to partner up and help Lilja the Label with their sustainability campaign. By providing video production services, an interactive campaign website integrated with their creative donation process, we were able to assist Lilja the Label in achieving their goals and creating a positive impact on our seas.
